World Tamil Organization logo 2012Three years ago, during this month of May in the year 2009, more than 400,000 Tamil people were forcibly herded like cattle into a mere 40 square mile area of the Tamil people’s own ancestral land in Mullivaikkal and were slaughtered mercilessly by the armed forces of the fascist, racist Sinhalese Government, causing the deaths of 40,000 + people. More than 25,000 children have been orphaned. After three years of war’s end, still 146,000 people are reported missing, many of whom are feared dead due to the unbearable brutality and torture inflicted on them by the murderous Sinhalese armed forces. Many thousands of Tamil people are still being detained in concentration camps. Tamil women are sexually abused. There seems to be no end in sight for the tragedy faced by the Tamil people in the North East of Tamil Eelam.

WTO appeals to the International Community to restore justice by bringing the Sinhalese leaders and military personnel who are accused of war crimes and genocide against the Tamils to stand trial in front of the International Court of Justice in The Hague and to restore Eelam Tamils the rights of self-determination in their own ancestral land. Thank you!

Sincerely,
