demilitarize the north of Sri Lanka… ha ha ha ha ha .. that's like asking the BRAVE INDIAN JAWAN to leave Indian OCCUPIED J&K, Manipur and all other North Eastern states.. Or saying to the USA to leave Diego Garcia where they expelled all islanders to have their naval base..

we should follow the LLRC but never demilitarize the north of Sri Lanka ever. as for centuries this has been the achilles heel of our nation where Invasions, to Terror which came across the palk strait…. We lankans should never and as a national interest ever demilitarize the north of Sri Lanka or any other Key point around our Island.. The only time to reduce presence should be in the north if there was nothing across the Palk strait… But to our misfortune there is such a nation that introduced the Indian Taliban to Lanka.. and commited other serious violations in the forms of smuggling...

IN EUROPE THE LEADERS HAVE STARTED A NEW TREND IN THEIR POLITICAL THINKING.. AND TO SOME DEGREE THIS SHOULD APPLY AND APPLIES TO THE SITUATION IN LANKA.. THAT'S THE KEY WORD..INTEGRATION.. ESPECIALLY HAS FAILED IN THE NORTH…. EG: WHEN TAMILS SETTLE ALL OVER SRI LANKA AND QUITE RIGHTLY THEY ARE EXERCISING THEIR FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS.. BUT WHEN SINHALA, MUSLIM, BUGHER, MALAY, SL CHINESE WISH TO SETTLE IN THE NORTH THE NORTHERN POLITICIANS AND THE LTTE DIASPORA SHOUT.. THEY ARE INVADING SO-CALLED TRADITIONAL TAMIL HOMELANDS.. NOW THE SETTLEMENT OF NON TAMILS IN THE NORTH ARE A KEY AND ESSENTIAL FOR FUTURE PEACE AND SHOULD BE IN THE LLRC AND ANY RESOLUTIONS.. YET NONE OF THE LTTE SUPPORTED INT NGOS SEEM TO MENTION THIS VERY BASCI RIGHT OF OTHER CITIZENS OF LANKA WHO ARE NOT OF TAMIL ORIGIN, BUT WISH TO SETTLE IN THE NORTH.. NOW LIKE THESE WESTERN POLITICIANS ARGUE INTEGRATION.. SHOULD THAT NOT BE APPLIED TO US LANKANS..??? SO WHY THE FEAR FROM THE LTTE DIASPORA.. I CHALLENGE GOSL TO INCLUDE THIS IN PART OF THE RECONCILIATION PROCESS... THUS ENDING LTTE RACIST POLITICS FOREVER.. THIS INTEGRATION PROGRAMME IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN THOUSAND TANK BATTLES.. and note to col R Hariharan.. can you also pls explain to the world the thuggery rape, extra-judicial killings and enforced disappearances that happen in J&k and North Eastern states by the Indian Armed forces.. and no soldier or commander can be prosecuted for these crimes because of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act.. Just ask all The Human Rights groups that were present in Geneva.. Or have they turned a blind eye.. Its all over the Internet.. Those brave JAWANS..
