Here is V.Navaratnam's picture. He is the one in the center, with spectacles. This was in 1961, during the Federal Party's agitation in Jaffna, proclaiming a 'new postal service.' The picture shows those in it functioning as postal workers. Source: Federal Party Silver Jubilee Souvenir (1974).
Yesterday was Mr. Navaratnam's 94th birthday. He was born on October 18, 1910.
