Good debate. It was interesting to note how those MPs who were enjoying a paid holiday were playing the tune expected by piper!
To expect the Tamil civilians living in the north to speak their minds freely under a Sinhala military rule is simply unrealistic and shows the nature of the problem involved. The same goes for the Tamil MPs too! Some of them have paid the price wih their lives and harm to their persons! Even judges are not safe from physical harm!!!
