In this current climate of investigation by the OHCHR on Sri Lanka, the NESoHR reports issued during the period from 2005 till January 2009 is here republished as a single file for ease of access. These reports were written from the NESoHR office in Kilinochchi during the above mentioned period and later from its one room temporary office in Puthukkudiyiruppu. The reports are based on information provided directly to NESoHR by the affected people.
This reports collation is organised by category of violations covered in the report and has the following six subsections: massacre reports; individual case reports; reports on food and medicine embargo; displacement reports; reports on curtailment of Tamil fishing rights; and Monthly Human Rights reports.
This collation file is therefore large (800 pages; 50 MB PDF file). It is annotated with continuous page numbers and is prefixed with a content page for ease of access of each report.
